Welcome to the Police & Military Tie Tac Service website. PMTTS incorporates what was the
Police National Tie Tac Register, so if that's what you are looking for you are in the right place!
PMTTS is the home of tie tacs, tie pins, button badges... whatever you call them as long as they have
a police or military theme and assist in fund raising for a number of good causes.
Over 20 years ago, Neil Boden took on what was called The Police National Tietac Register.
PNTTR started its orgins in the mail order side and produced Police related lapel pins.
Proceeds from these lapel pins would be donated to various charitable causes.
The age of the Internet saw PNTTR go more towards selling online and increasing production.
After being approched by various military units, PNTTR was re-named The Police & Military Tietac Service.
Neil Boden who assisted numerous charitable causes via PMTTS retired in 2008.
His hard work and dedication has been carried on and our main aim will always to be helping people help others.
Paul Moriarty & Pete Doherty have taken over the running of PMTTS. Paul had assited Neil Boden in maintaing the PNTTR/PMTTS website for nearly 10 years. Pete Doherty had been in the tietac arena long before Paul and had numerous Police realted lapel pins commissioned via PNTTR/PMTTS. Pete is an asset to PMTTS in his specialised knowledge regarding certain aspects of the hobby.
Inline with the PMTTS goals of supporting charitable causes, throughout 2008
we will be supporting the Royal National Lifeboat Institution RNLI.
We will of course be supporting other charities and good causes via specific tie tacs. |
